The Angels in Heaven Rejoice:  Georgia Tech Student Surrenders Life to Christ

Hello to you all, I hope you are well. I wanted to briefly share a quick testimony from today. I was out on the Skiles walkway this afternoon purposing to do some 1to1 evangelism. The first [and only as it turned out] person I shared with was a sophomore Aerospace Engineering major, Harold, from Togo who grew up in Belgium.
Harold had grown up Catholic, but had been somewhat influenced by growing up in Western Europe [ie. secular humanism, etc.]
I spoke with Harold for about 1.5 hours including going through the 10 Commandments [Way of the Master style] and then reading several passages from the Scripture. The Holy Spirit was definitely convicting him and he decided to surrender his life to Jesus as Lord and Savior. As Jesus said, ”...the angels in heaven are rejoicing over one (former) sinner repenting…”
So, be encouraged that the Lord is moving on the campus in the midst of the “hard hearts and closed minds” that we often encounter. Let the Spirit lead you and guide you as you go about your campus “business” as we know there are other students out there who are “ripe” for responding to the Gospel!
